CraftingEventFinderBot

CraftingEventFinder is a free directory of crafting events across the United States. Our crawler visits the public event pages of guilds, shops, festivals and organizers so the listings stay accurate and up to date.

How to recognize it

Our requests identify themselves with this user agent. Some pages are fetched for us by our crawling provider, Firecrawl, which may use its own network addresses:

How it behaves

• It follows your robots.txt, including rules for the CraftingEventFinderBot token.
• It requests one page at a time from a site, at least two seconds apart. Scheduled checks revisit a page about once a day at most, and an editor occasionally re-checks a page by hand when a listing needs confirming.
• It reads public pages only. It never logs in, submits forms or collects personal information.

What we keep

Event facts such as the name, dates, place, crafts, price and a link back to your page, plus a short summary written in our own words. We never copy long passages and we never store images from your site.

Opting out

To stop the crawler, add this to your robots.txt:

To change or remove a listing we already have, open the event on CraftingEventFinder and use the "Correct or remove this listing" link. We review every request.
